The students of the 22nd Batch of Namuna College of Fashion Technology had the opportunity to visit Siam Institute as part of an enriching industry exposure experience designed to broaden their understanding of the beauty and wellness sector.
During the visit, students explored the institute’s learning environment, observed professional beauty and hairdressing facilities, and gained valuable insights into beauty education and contemporary industry practices. The experience enabled them to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world professional environments, offering a deeper appreciation of the standards and skills required in the industry.
A highlight of the visit was the interaction with Mrs. Kamala Shrestha, Founder of Siam Institute, whose remarkable contribution to beauty education in Nepal has inspired generations of beauty professionals. Students had the privilege of learning from her experiences and perspectives on the evolution of the beauty industry. A few students were also given the unique opportunity to witness and experience live hair-cutting demonstrations conducted by Mrs. Shrestha herself, making the visit even more memorable and educational.
