Students of the 24th Batch, 2nd Semester of Namuna College of Fashion Technology (NCFT), recently participated in an industrial visit to Tara Oriental Pashmina (OO-TO) under the Textile Fabric Manufacturing subject, guided by Dr. Chaitanya Raj Adhikari.
The educational visit provided students with firsthand exposure to the intricate process of producing premium cashmere and pashmina products. From traditional handloom weaving and hand dyeing techniques to sustainable manufacturing practices, the experience allowed students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world textile production.
During the visit, students gained valuable insights into various stages of textile creation, including quality control measures, ethical production standards, and the craftsmanship involved in maintaining product excellence. Such practical exposure plays a significant role in enhancing students’ understanding of the textile industry and preparing them for future professional endeavors.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Bhim Acharya, Manager of Tara Oriental Pashmina, for conducting an informative factory tour and sharing his expertise with our students. We also thank the entire team for their warm hospitality and for creating an enriching learning environment for our students.
