Namuna College of Fashion Technology organized an enriching guest lecture session for the 24th Batch (First Semester), featuring Mr. Sunil Kumar Puri, Chartered Textile Technologist (CText) and Fellow of The Textile Institute (FTI), UK.
With an illustrious career spanning over five decades in the textile industry, Mr. Puri shared his deep expertise in knitting technology, fully fashioned garment manufacturing, and total quality management. He highlighted the importance of precision, structured calculations, and scientific methodologies in producing well-fitted knitwear.
Drawing from his 50 years of hands-on industry experience, he provided practical insights into knitting geometry, production accuracy, and the integration of design intent with manufacturing execution. His session offered students a valuable opportunity to connect theoretical learning with real-world industrial applications.
