NCFT organized an interactive meeting between prominent industry members, the college officials and students of the 15th batch (7th semester) for industry needs assessment and finalization of Internship placement of the students.
The industry members shared an overview of their respective organizations, the scope of activities and the Internship pre-requisites with the students and also addressed their numerous queries.
Mr. Durga Bikram Thapa (President, Nepal Pashmina Industries Association), Mr. Netra Raj Giri (MD, High Himalaya Garments), Mr. Dinesh Kumar Shrestha (MD, Alpine Pashmina), Mr. Shakti Golyan (MD, Tricot Industries), Mr. Biju Shakya (MD, Diamond Knitland), Ms. Mohini Maharjan and Ms. Geeta Shrestha (Co-Founders, Nepal Silk) and Mr. Santosh Parajulie (Marketing Manager, Nature Knit) from the Pashmina/Cashmere industry participated in the meeting.
Likewise, the meeting had the participation of Mr. Maheshwor Shrestha (CEO, Everest Fashion), Ms. Shyam Badan Shrestha (MD, Nepal Knotcraft Center), Mr. Shivendra Shah (Managing Partner, Creative Touch), Mr. Jayram Pandey (MD, Setidevi Export and Import), Ms. Pooja Shrestha (Associate Vice President, Alternative Technology), Mr. Sonam Muktan (Director, Logo Fashion Industries) and Mr. Sabin Dhungana (Co-Owner, Basundhara Collection) from industries such as garment, felt, carpet design, etcetera.
Among the college officials in the meeting were Ms. Gyani Shova Tuladhar (Founder Principal), Mr. Jeebeswor Lal Shrestha (Vice Principal) and Mr. Rajendra Singh (Advisory Board Member and HOD).
