





In observance of World No Tobacco Day, students of Namuna College of Fashion Technology (NCFT) participated in an awareness walkathon aimed at promoting a tobacco-free lifestyle and encouraging healthier choices among young people.
The program was organized by Nepal Cancer Niwaran Pratisthan in collaboration with Kathmandu Cancer Center and brought together students, educators, healthcare professionals, and community members in a collective effort to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco use.
NCFT was honored to take part in this meaningful initiative alongside Dr. Rajani Jha, representatives from NSK Tour for Education, medical professionals, and individuals from various sectors dedicated to promoting public health and awareness.
The walkathon also witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students from John Dewey H.S. School, highlighting the importance of youth engagement in creating positive social change. Through active participation, attendees helped spread the message of prevention, awareness, and healthy living.
World No Tobacco Day serves as a reminder of the health risks associated with tobacco consumption and the importance of collective efforts in building a healthier and tobacco-free future. NCFT remains committed to supporting awareness programs that encourage responsible choices and community well-being.
